The body of the church is made up of different parts, each with a particular function that is essential to the others for the church to fulfil its mission. While our desire is for you to see mission opportunities on your own frontline, we also have opportunities to belong and serve in church teams and activities. Membership is about publicly standing with our church through a commitment to our beliefs, our activities and to tithing according to biblical standards as our church is self-financing in our ongoing mission.
Our general expectation is that newcomers to our fellowship spend at least 6 months in regular attendance before applying for membership.

Serving
We have many opportunities to serve in the life of our church. Though there are exceptions to the rule, we generally require people to be in membership with us in order to take up a volunteer position.
If you are interested in serving in a volunteer position with us we recommend you get in touch with a member of the leadership or one of the Core Team reps responsible for the area you want to serve in.
Our general expectation is that you will have been a regular attendee or member with us for a minimum of 12 months before taking up a volunteer role.
For roles conidered positions of trust, mainly, but not exclusive to, working with children and youth, you will be required to go through our safer recruitment process which will involve:
Filling out an application form Providing references Filling out a self declaration form Applying for a DBS check (requiring a risk assessment regarding any disclosed convictions) An informal interview with two leaders To download our general application form click here Giving
Our church is entirely self-financed through the giving of our regular members and attendees. You can give in person, by Standing Order or online bank payments.
